The team to represent New Zealand against Lord Hawke's team in the first test matdh to be played at Lancaster Paj-k en Friday, Saturday, and Monday, Februnry 27tih and 28th, and MaTch 2nd, wiE probably ba chosen to-day. A large number of business firms have already signified their intention of closing on Friday afternoon., the first day of tbo match, and there is every probability of a general balf-hofliday being obeerved that day. In order to foster a love of cricket among the younger generation, the Cricket Council has arranged tickets for school-children, covering admission to tlws Park for the tihree days of the match at a nominal charge of one shilling.
