FURTHER REVELATIOIIS. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 17th, 9.16 son.) PERTH, February 17. Harry Jones, lately a machinist in Bert. Leighton'a Company, has been arrested at Albany, on a charge of receiving £640 worth of the stolen banknotes, which ha had been cashing freely. He had £167 in gold'on him when arrested. Leighton's proper name is Norman Campbell. He has a brother in the same bank as the clerk McLagan who atole the money in the first instance. The detectives believe that the whole thing was a conspiracy-,' and that the principal has not yet been arrested. When McLagan was captured, he said h« had intended to leave by the Ophir last Monday, but Jones did not turn up with the ticket as arranged. Leighton also accused Jones of playing him false. Leighton took the company for a goldfields' tour, but had a disastrous financial career.
