Crothers admitted using obscene language in a public place, and pleaded provocation. He was fined 40s and costs, or in default one month's imprisonment. ETHICS OF THE PIG MARKET. D. Graham (Mr Hebaore) wed James Bice (Mr Papprill) for the return of two pigs or payment of their value, £4 6s. After bearing the evidence, the Magistrate (Mr Bishop) made an order for the delivery of the pigs within 24 hours with 20a for damages, or failing that payment of £4 3s with coats. .
