January , ... ... 210,000 300,000 February 176,000 176,000 386,000 476,000 These figures show an excess of 90,000 carcases, and as the main portion of this surplus will only come on the Home market during this month, the combined extra supplies from .New Zealand and the River Plate now in sight show 290,000 carcases for February and March.
