Tho inaugural meeting of the Lauristo: and Lyndhurst Sports and Racing C!ub wa held on Anniversary Day, in a paddock op poeite the Railway Station, Launston, kindi lent for tho occasion by Mr Stewart. Th gathering was a most successful one, full 500 persons being present, including visitor from Ashburton and Christchurch.
