(SFIXIAL TO "THE PRESS.") AUCKLAND, December 18. Nothing in the way of special work was done tins morning. Northumberland and Grey Seaton ran a useful mile and a half. Pallae covered cix furlongs in good style. Orloff got over a mile at a- strong pace. Cruciform and Siege Gun were companions in a mile and a quarter spin. Mara and The Needle galloped over a mile. Matemataharakiki beat Bluejacket over a mile and a quarter. Idas beat Val Rosa in a miie gallon. King Log r*n five furlongs. Hohoro, Camille, WairJki, Golden Rose, and Seotty got through good eprinticc tasks.
