The English crioketere will commence the first matoh of their New Zealand tour at the Domain to-morrow afternoon against Auckland. Since their arrival the membere of Lord Hawke'a team have put in some good, useful work at the nets, the final practice taking place to-day. There was a suggestion that 12 men aside should be played, bu£ owing to the indisposition of Hargreaves, one of the team's leading bqwlere, the Englishmen have only eleven men available. Of the Auckland team, Barclay is suffering from an injury to his head euutained at practice on Wednesday, and may have to be left out.
