HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD ELECTIONS.
The annual elections for the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board took place yesterday. The following were the results: — Selwyn County Council—Messrs Mo* Haffie, Wolfe; McMillan, and Dunlop. Charitable Aid, Board:-—Mrs Black, jxersrs Westenra, Gough, and Wolfe. Trustee for Samaritan Home:—Mre Black. The united boroughs of St. Albane, Lytteltbn, Kaiaipoi and Rangiora elected Mr' T.; H. Dnvey, M.H.8., as member of the Hospital Board, and Mr E. Feldwick as member of the Charitable Aid Board. The Sydenham Borough Council elected Mr W. Jakes as their representative on the Hospital Board, and Mr B. P. Monhire on </he Charitaible Aid Board. Messrs G. Wallace and J. Dobson were re-elected for Ashley County on the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board respectively. At a meeting yesterday of the Linwood, Woohston, Sumner and New Brighton Borough Councils, to elect a member of the Charitable Aid Board, Mr H. Pearce, Mayor of Linwood, was unanimously elected on the motion of Mr Cleworth, seconded by Mr Richardson. A hearty vote o ftbanks was passed to Mr F. Board for his past services. Subsequently at a meeting to elect a representative of the same bodies on the Hospital Board, Mr H. Winny (New Brighton) was elected on Mr Rollitt's motion. A hearty vote of thanks to Mr Bollitt for his past service* waa accorded.
