(PBE»3 ASSOCIATION -E-E-RA-J.) AUCKLAND, October 7. At a meeting of the Farmers' Union, the secretary reported the steps which branches were taking to select candidates for Parliament by ballot. The secretary was requested to communicate with the secretaries of branche. in tha districts where no steps had yet bean taken.
