LONDON, August 18. The return match with Gloucestershire commenced at Cheltenham to-day. The home team was—Jessop, Champain, Sewell, Rice, Troup, Brownlee, Board, Spry, Woof, Langdon, and Wrathali Trusnble, Kelly, and Saunders were omitted from the Australian team.
Rain delayed the start, and when pEay began (he weather w« dull, the wicket soft, and the attendance small. Darling won the toss, and sent in Duff and Trumper. When he had made a couple Duff retired, caught by Woof off his own bowling. 6—l— 2. Hill followed, and with the score at 21 rain again set in, preventing any further play for the day. ' ~...'..■':■
