THE BOTTLE LAKE CAMP.
At the roll call yesterday, 135 officers and men answered to their names. All the m_ in camp who had not previously. been vaccinated were vaccinated by Dr. Symes. The men are mana.ging to (find amusement for themselves, and they have a football. Captain "McGee and Lieutenant Browne, of the District Staff, visited camp yesterday. Amongst the troopers who have remained in camp at Bottle Lake a great .deal 4>f discontent is expressed, and they consider thej- are being unfciiiiy treated*, hi* .6ffiiM-i-' soil \v__li the men. who havo camp, and are enjoying themselves iif lowii and at the races. The men who have obeyed orders will, however, shortly have the laugh against those who did not. The District 'Health Officer ha.s instituted proceedings against a number of the men who bave failed to report themselves or who have in any way obstructed tlie work of tlie oamp by leaving it without permission. About sixty men have yet to report themselves at camp. The catering by M'r'F. A. Cook is giving every satisfaction. Captain McGee yesterday received for tbe men in camp bundles of literature from Lieutenant Batchelor, and from the Pioneer Bicycle Club. An additional fifty pairs of blankets were distributed yesterday.
