NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The rooms of the Young Women's Christian Association -will be open on Sa/turdav (Coronation Day), from 2 p.m. Refreshments may be obtained during the afternoon and evening, until 9 p.m. As will be seen by a notification elsewhere, owing to the alterations which are being effected in the Lower High street Methodist Church, the service to-morrow morning will be held in the Schoolroom. In the evening a Coronation service will be held in the Oddfellows* Hall, Lichfield street, to be conducted by the Rev. J. Orchard. Members of the* 1.0. G.T. Lodges will be present m regalia. Special hymns will be provided. Special Coronation demonstrations of the art of glass-blowing will be held twice daily during the coming week at the local glass works. The Rev. G. H. Mann, Primitive Methodist Evangelist, will conclude his mission in Christchurch to-morrow. The annual meeting of the Christchurch Poultry Club will be held at the robms an Monday next, at 8 p.m. Frequent trams wi£l i_a to-day to the Addingbon Show Grounds for the Trotting —keeting.
