Pelletan, the French Minister of Marine, has summarily dismissed Admirals De Beaumont and Servan, the former for criticising M. Pelletan's choice of subordinates and parading his mistress _t the French National Fete, and Admiral Servan for disregarding sanitation on his flagship.
