VAN BURG COMPANY.
The Van Burg Conpany produced a new Eiece on Saturday night, entitled "Fettered ives," which gave much satisfaction to a large audience. The piece belongs to the usual order of mdodrama, and head-lines to the various scenes, .such, as \ 'The Attempted Murder/ and ''-The Demon's Sacrifice," convey an- idea of its sensationalism. The staging is distinctly good,'and the mechanical effects, especially in the - explosion scene, are very realistic. ' "The chief parts in the piece, 'those of Mark Meredith and May Incjlis, were taken by Mr George Coppin and Miss Millie-Collier 'Fettered.Lives" will bene** peated to-night.
