LONDON, -March 22. Cambridge won the University boat race by eicrht lengths! (Received March 24th, 12.37 a.m.)
LONDON, March 23.
The University boat race was rowed in heavy rain. The water was smooth. Cambridge won the toss, and having selected „te Surrey station, held the lead throughout Oxford spurted in Crabtree Reach, bob were three lengths behind at Hammersmith Bridge. From this point the race degenerated into a procession, the losers being rowed out. Time, 19min ssec.
Cambridge _aa now won twenty-five of these race, and Oxford twenty^two. The crews, according to the latest Eng--I__ papers to hand, were as follows: — Ca-sbridge—W. H.
