The following is the statement of Customs duties collected at the Port of Lyttelton during the week ended Friday,* 7th February, 1902:—Spirits, £1483 2s 8d; cigars, cigarettes, and snuff, £172 4s ; tobacco, -£788 Os 6d; wine, £111 0s 3d, beer, £20 4s; tea, £167 4s 8d; coffee, cocoa, and chocolate, £9 15s ; sugar, molasses and •treacle, £514 8s 9d j weight, £603 7s 3d « ad valorem," £4504 6s 10d'; other duties, £447 17s 6d' ; total for week, -08821.11s 4d.
