BOWLING CREASE TO BE WIDENED. LONDON, December 20. The Marylebone dub Committee hate approved of a proposal to widen the bowling crease by one foot each way. They decided'that it was undesirable that wickete should be prepared artificially. The decision of the county captains in 1900 <with regard td illegal bowling had done so much good that the Committee thought it unnecessary to suggest drastic measures, but they hoped the counties would decline to play doubtful bowlers.
