Cellars and yards in the centre of the town were flooded, wad * large number of poultry drowned, but no serious damage it yet reported in town or country. DUNEDIN, December 19,
For the last month Dunedin has experienced the most unseasonable weather known for year*. Hardly a day bos passed within that time without ram falling in torrents. The climax was reached to-d*y, when a thunderstorm broke over the city, accompanied by sheets of lightning. There is no sign of it clearing.
