The following weather reports wej* received from New Zealand stations at 5 o'clock yesterday evening:— Manukau Head*—Wind, S.W., fresh; bate, 29.93; therm., 59; cloudy; sea heavy. New Plymouth—Wind, S.W., fresh; bare, 29.67; therm., 53; fine; sea heavy. Wellington—Wind, S., light; baro., 29.65; therm., 57; fine. Westport—Wind, S.W., fresh; baro., 29.77; therm., 57; fine; sea considerable. Kaikoura—Wind, S.E., light; baro., 29.76; therm., 60; fine; sea moderate. Bluff—Wind, W., fresh} baro., 29.68; therm., 54; cloudy. Captain Edwin telegraphed:—"A low pressure from the west will probably pass eastward of the meridian of South Cape late to-morrow, and one from the mmc , direction is due on the 20th inst. Pressure ia very low in the Tasman Sea, travelling to south-east."
