PRESIDENT'S CUP.
Sydenham, commenced a, match with Albion at Sydenham Park. Scores at'call of time were: -—Sydenham 91 (Hadfield 10, McMeekan 11,. H. J. Jones 12, v Gray 17, Lavery 22), and 76 .for no wickets (McMeekan '45, not out, Patrick 17, not out). Albion 76 (Patterson 34,- not out). Jones and Hadfield** bowled best for Sydenham, and Hoare for Albion"; "
Christ's College and the Rivals played a match on the former's ground, when the former won by nine wickets. Scores;—Rivals 60 and 55: College 72 ahd 53 for one wicket.
The High School and Midland began % match at Hagiey Park, when the former, who batted two men short, had -ightly the beat of the day*- play. Scores:—Midland 94 and 28 for one wicket;, High School 121. The United and Lancaster Park teams began, a match on the College ground, and at the call of time the scores were: —United 184; Lancaster Park 53 for two wickets.
