MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
INEBRIETY. At the Magistrate's Court yest«»day, I Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., convicted and die ' charged a first offender for inebriety, and fined Jane O'Connell, alias Stanley, lOs, in default forty-eight hoars' imprisonment. AFFILIATION. Alexander Strothers, aged /seventeen, pleaded guilty to a charge of being about tc change hw locality without proving for an , unborn illegitimate child. H« whs ordered to find security in £50 that he would not do so, and to pay birth expenses, or to go to prison for six months. - ALLEGED THEFT. Paul Faville (Mr Donnelly), who wag charged with stealing a pocket-handkerchief 1 and at 2s, from the person of Mary* Davis, in Ihe train for the. races on Wednesday, was remanded until Saturday.
