The Spring Meeting of the' New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club will be brought to a conclusion to-day; In most of the events { the .fields, though small, are of excellent y quality, and the racing should be highly in- , terestiug. Apart from "the usual events, it i- is probable that Jessie Palm, J.H. and Ribbonwood will make attempts to secure the purse of 75 soys offered'by the Club for the horse doing the fastest time under 2.18. The various events mty result as follows:—lnnovation Handicap, Hercules; Ladies' Bracelet, Rickety or Nil Desperandum; Metropolitan Handicap, Lancstvccd 11. or All Dry; Progressive Handicap, Edna or The Needle; AddingtoU tiandicif, Kerryall or Gleniti; Swift Handicap, Vtckery or The Final Handicap, Rcbex or Whisper. Nominations' for the Takapuna Jockey Club's String Meeting are due to-day. Nafferton (20sec) ' pnd Vanguard (21sec) were omitted in the list of handicaps for the Telegraph -Handicap', at /the New Zealand Metropolitan Club's'meeting to be held to-> day.
