JTew Plymouth—Wind. S.W., fresh; baro., 29.91; therm., 62; sea heavy. Caetle-point—Wind, X.W., light; baro., 23.71; therm., 64; fine, soa moderate. Wellington—Wind, N.W., stromr: bare, 29.65; therm., 62; cloudy. West-port—Wind, W., breere; baro., 29.80; therm., 63; fine, "eea moderate. Westpoit—Wind, W., broeae; baio., 29.80; therm., 63; fine, sea moderate. Kaikoura—Calm.; baro., 29.54; therm., 75; fins, sea smooth. Bluff—Wind, N.W., fresh; bare, 23.46; therm., 50; showery. _ Captain Edwin telegraphed:—"Heavy galea from between north-west and west and south.-' west ,are to be expected in all parts oi the country, with rain and muoh colder weather, and there will be a heavy'sea on the east coast southward of Castlepoint, and on all the western coast. Low pressure from west is near the meridian of the South Cape." '
