HOW CAN THEY BE ASSISTED? It would appear, from a statement made in Parliament recently . that some of - the | returned troopers havo found a difficulty in ' getting employment. Oar readers will agree with us that men ! who have done so much credit to the colony should receive every assistance in their efforts to get work on their return from the war. ! The Government,' we are glad to say, are giving preference to such men where they can, and we would strongly urge private employers to do the same.
