Margaret lies pleaded guilty to a charge of importuning, and was discharged on undertaking to go to the Samaritan Home. BREACH OF CITY BY-LAWS. Thomas Smith was charged with driving a horse and vehicle across the ColomboHereford street crossing at a pace faster than permitted by the City by-laws. He was fined 10s and costs.
