(Received September 30th, 10.58 p.m.) OTTAWA, September 30. Two thousand Redskins held -a "powwow" in war paint at Calgary. The Duke and Duchess were delighted, and promised medals to twelve chiefß.
Calgary is th-3 capital of the district of Albrrla, on the Canadian Pacific Railway, 840 miles by rail west of Winnipeg, and is beautifully situated at the confluence of the Bow and Jsiibow Rivers.. Regina is 357 miles from Winnipeg, and is the capital of the North-West Territories.
