COUNTRY TEACHERS' ASSOCIATION.
A number of country teachers met in the Normal School on Saturday morning Jaat to discuea the desirableoess of forming a Country Teadhnrs , Association for the Nertli Canteffbttty district. - Mr B. 8.. Ryder was voted to toe chair. Ms , F» JL, Alley moved, and Mr W. Thte motion, was carried by a large majority. It>. was, reeofrsred that country teachers. -who ore of the Institute should ,he admitted. as members of the Associaiiom on payment of a nominal subscription of sixpence a year, ail others wishing to join to pay in addition the necessary fee to enable them to become members of some section of the Institute. The following were elected ac the Executive for the year:—'President, Mr B. B. Ryder; vioanpreeident, Mr W. Tipler; secretary and treasurer, Mr W. Boyce; committee, MeeerH A. Braanley, F. J. Alley, W. Stout, and E. H. Pergueon, jun.
