ELLESMERE HORSE PARADE.
There was an entry of 14 -torses for the annual horse parade in connection with the ELU-mere A. and P. Association, which was held at Leeston on Friday. The. parade was held in Mr Spring's recreation ground, and there wast a large attendance present. The horses comprised two thoroughbreds, four .trotters, two carriage horses, and six draughts. In the thoroughbreds, Mr Pick's recent purchase, Cast-shore, was much, admired. Mr H. Thompson's Lakeahell had also many admirers. In trotters, Electioneer looked especially well, while Mr Fay's La Rue -has also improved since last year. In dxaaghsts. Mr McKellar's Grampian and Load Roberts were in splendid condition, so also was LochieL,.
