«• (special to "thb fbxss.") WBUiINGTON, July 7. During his speech on the Address-ln-Beply Mir J. Huteheson was persistently interrupted by Mr Geo. Fisher. ' He at length claimed the protection of the Speaker, who said he had already warned Mr Fisher, and should "the conduct complained of be per;, sisted in he would have to take other steps.
Mr CMeara warned the Government that if it did not pay more attention to the country settlers it would, by intriguing, be put off the Government benches. Ministers, he added, had paid too much attention to Labour legislation"and neglected the country districts.
"Between the Opposition and Captain Russell," said Mr J. Huteheson, "there was the most complete trust and confidence, and friendship." Nothing of an unpleasant character had, he declared, occurred. 'Mr Massey thinks that "in spite of the increase in the number of Ministers we are developing a system of Government by Royal Commission."
