HIS KEPOETED KESIGNATIONTHE RUMOUR CONTRADICTED. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGKAM.) AUCKLAND, July 5. The Hon. Hall-Jones arrived from Botorua to-night. Asked if there was any truth in the rumours regarding his resignation, he said the statement was altogether incorrect. He had not sent in his k resignation, and if the report of the alleged interview at Timaru was correct then there must be some misunderstanding somewhere, as the relations between himself and the Premier are, and had always been T of the most cordial character. * Possibly the rumours originated owing to Jus haying l«en Indisposed for some" little time prior to and during the Boyal visit, necessitating a rest, for a week or two, and the advantage of the baths at BotoruaJr- . .
