The annual smoke concert and present** i tioa of prase in connection with the Lancaster Park Amateur Shimming Ciub wa4i held last night, the president, Mr R O Duncan, m the chair. - in opening the prol the Chairman referred to the jjreat Joss the club had sustained through" the death of Colonel Frauds, to whom the club owed much,,and whose memory would be cherished by all who had; known him. A number of toasts were honoured, including those of "The Lancaster Park Amateur Swimming Club," ''Successful CoimpetitMSß." "The New Zealand Amateur Swimming 4asociatiou," "Kindred Clubs and Sports'" and "Members at ths Front." Prizes wero presented as follows:—E. Eldridge first, L. W. Ormandy second, "F. Haworth, tirird, in Inter-club Handicap; P. W. OJUiyer R, 13 Hall, A. E. Russell, and R. Gill, Inter-dub Relay Race; James Goodwin first, in Jubilee Race; F. Newton first, and J. W. Smith second, December Race; F. D Stokes, Obstacle Race; J. M'Kinley first, and N. Sturrock second, Juiriors Race; H., Denby first, and; F. Lee eeooad, Cetonei Francis's' Handicap j F. Lee first-, President's Handicap. "
