HOBBY SHOW AT ASHBURTON
»l Mr C. D. Hardie and his associates have taken great pains to make the hobby show in aid of the Ashburton Borough School Prize Fund a phenomenal success, and so far as can bo s*-en at present they have succeeded. There is a very large and varied exhibit of many articles of a most- interesting nature, from the handiwork of the merest infant to that of the artistic hand and eye of Mrs Woodthorpe, wife of the Rev. Mr Woodthorpe. M.A., and a pupil of the* Buskin School. In fact, the Art Gallery is a worthy collection of the most unique pictures yet shown at any entertainment given in Ashburton.
