The following letter wife __ceived_jby the President of the Ministering Uhildren's League, acknowledging the receipt of the photographs framed in New Zealund woods, which were presented to H.R.H. the Ducliess of Cornwall and York by the members of the League in Canterbury: — "Christchurch; June 22nd, 1901. "The Lady r in-Waiting is desired by H.R.H. the Duchess of Cornwall and York to express to Mrs (or Miss) Bowen her thanks for the photographs she has kindly sent for her Royal Highness's acceptance. Her Royal Highness further wishes ib to. be mentioned that she is much interested in the details of the working of the Ministering Children's League, and is much obliged to Mrs Bowen for the information she has been so kind as to give her on the subject."
