The Premier has received' the following cablegram from th 3 Officer-Commanding in South Africa:— . ]
"Brigadier 1 Colonel Gray, commanding desires mc to say that he is extremely plpased at the behaviour of the Seventh Contingent in the recent fighting. Enemy suffered, in killed, wounded, and prisoners. Brigadier-Colonel Gray (Commanding)* Colonel VVhite, Colonel" Porter, Squad ronUaptains Harrowell, Simpson, Seddon, Bauchop, Dickson, Roy, Tubman, of the staff; Eines. of the Scouts: Jackson and Abbott have not joine dthe Seventh." *
