A ROYAL RECEPTION.
His Royal Highness the Duke of Cornwall and York ba» expressed his great pleasure at the arrangements made for hie reception in. Christchurch, and hue graciously consented to hold a reception at the Canterbury Hall, entering -by the main door Manchester street, between the hours of 5 and 6 o'clock this evening. Invitations have been issued by his Excellency the Governor, and it is important that guests should be punctual. Indies and gentlemen attending the reception will be required to wear morning dress, gentlemen wearing black coats. The limited time at the disposal of their Royal Highnesses necessarily restricts the number of invitations issued.
