His Excellency the Governor and the Countess of Ramurly gave the first State dinner in Ghristchurch at "Te Koraha" on Saturday night, the following ladies and gentlemen having the honour to be invited to'meet their Royal Highnesses the Duke ar.d Duchess of Cornwall and York: —(Japtain his Serene Highness Prince Alexander of Teck, Lady Mary Lvgon, Lady Katharine Coke, the Hon. At the second State dinner given at Te Koraha on Sunday night, by his Excellency and the Countess of Ranfurly, the following had the honour to receire invitations: — Prince Alexander of Teck, Lady Mary Lygon, Lady Katharine Coke, the Hon. Mrs Derek Keppel, Lord Wenjock, Sir Arthur Bigge, Cotomander Sir Charles Cust, Sir Donald Wallace, K.p.1.E., Commander Winsloe, R.N., Captain Lord Crichton, the Duke of Roxburghe, Mr Sydney Hall, his Excellency the Admiral, the Flag Lieutenant, Hon. W. C. Walker, Mrs Waiter, and Mil* Walker, his Worship the Mayor of Ohristohurah (Mr A. E. G. Rhocke), and Mrs Arthur Rhodes, Mr Geo. G. Stead and Mrs Stead.
