Wellington—Wind, S., moderate gale; baro., 29.43: therm., 52; rain. Kaikoura—Wind. S.E.; baro., 29.62; therm., 52; drizzle, sea ameoth. Oamaru—Wind, S.E.; bare, 29.73; therm., 45: overcast, sea smooth. Biufi—Wind, S.E., lignt; baro., 29.74, therm., 50; gloomy, overcast.
Captain Edwin telegraphs:—At both. Albany and Sydney the pressure has decreased s.owiy, but it "has risen at Hobart. Low pressure from NW. is near Cape Farewell, travelling to about E.S.E. Southerly galee are fo be from Napder and New Plymouth southward to Dunedin and Queenstown; moderate to strong easterly -winds thence soothward, and strong west to south-weat wmds elsewhere. ■ .•■■'■
