DUKE'S MESSAGE HOME.
FREQUENT TELEGRAMS SENT TO THE KING.
The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall a.nd York have telegraphed home to the King very nattering accounts of their voyage on the Ophir and their reception by the Australian people. The Duke is in constant telegraphic communication with his Majesty and also his children, and wherever the Duke and Duchess have landed, one of the first things they have dfone is to forward messages making inquiries about their children. Tha royal children are foClowing the voyage of their parents with the utmost keenness, and their governess points out to them on the map exactly where the Duke and. Dnchess are and at which point they will next touch.
The. Duke and Duchess were weatly touched by their reception -at Melbourne, and wired, home most gratifying messages. The King is taking the greatest possible interest in the doings of his son, and the cordial! welcome given to the Duke and Dudhess at Melbourne lias much pleased his Majesty. It b understood, saye the "Daily Mail," that when the Duke arrives back in London he wall be made 'Prince of Wales, and that he and the Duchess will go to Frogmore House to live. This ie within easy distance of Windsor Castle, and &as been specially fitted up by the King as a royal residence.
