BELFAST.
At the Belfast School Committee meeting there were present Messrs Ellis (chairman), Rev. 0. Porter, Thompson, Wotton, Brodie, Napier, Morgan, and Grigg. The master's report showed that the average attendance had been 218.3, the number on the roll baing 268. A grant of £1 15s was received from the Board of Education towards the cost of providing instruction in swimming. Messrs Thompson and Morgan were appointed a visiting oommittee for the ensuing? month, and other routine business was transacted.
