THE 9 a.m. WEATHER REPORT.

The telegraphic weather report for 9 a.m. yesterday shows tha*. at Auckland there was a slight sou-wester, the barometer aud thermometer *cad 30.15 and 57, and there were passing clouds. At Wellington the barometer read 30.05, and the thermometer 51, and there was blue sky, with passing clouds. Dunedin experienced a fresh son'-westcr, tbe barometer and thermonietwr being 29.94 and 51. and the weather overcast. The highest temperature was 61, at Cape Maria Van Diemcn, and the lowest 35, at the Boaley. The weather throughout the coiony was generally fine.

Wind—Moderate from between south-east and north-east at all places north of Timaru and Queenstown, and from between west, southwest, and south elsewhere. Barometer—Further rise everywhere. Sea—Moderate on both coasts. Tides—Moderate on both coasis. Frost is expected in all high country in the North Island, and also at ail places south of Napier and New Plymouth. Oamaru—Calm; baro, 30.05; therm., 55; cloudy, sea moderate. Bluff—Wind, S.W, fresh; baro, 30.05; therm, 53; overcast. THE WEATHER IN T AUSTRALIA. The following 9 a.m. weather reports from Australian stations have been received: — : Albany, April 30th—Wind, N.W.; bvib., 29.50 ;* gale. Hobart. April 30th—Wind, S.E.; baro, 30.40; fine. Sydney, May Ist—Wind, W.; baro, 30.50; showery. Capt.'n Edwin telegraphs:—Pressure has increased at Albany, but has made very little movement at Sydney and Hobart, and will have decreased at tho latter place by next report. Low pressure from the west is due at the meridian of the South Cape on the 4th.
