(SPECIAL TO "THE FSES3.") GREYMOUTH, April 16. Claughesey's Freehold, on Nelson Creek, is to bo thoroughly prospected by shaft sinking. Thompson, on behalf of a Christchurch syndicate, in order to find £3000 to carry out ihe works necessary. Mr Shury states that the capital mentioned above will bring in fifteen Government heads of water. After the option was placed the owners decided to drivo in order to prove the ground, ar.d after threo sets had been finished they struck wash 12ft deep that yields loz to the load. Perry's Reward CompaJiy will have a run on Saturday.
