OPERA HOUSE.
On Saturday evening the Opjra House was filled ■with a most enthusiastic audience, encores being in great demand. Mr Frank Yorke had his audience with him from the start, and kept them in high spirits. In the first part of the programme he sang "His Bonce Shall Rise Again," causing much merriment. Miss Alice Layton sang "A LuHaby" with great expression, and in rtsponsa to on encore* gave '"I couldn't, could I?" The Mintons, Hubert and Gertrude, are two viry clever oerformers, and fairly brought down the house with their banjo playing, singing, and pedestal dancing. Th« Devella Sisters gave new sengs ami dances, and in response to the public's ■wish gave thoir ckwer "musical boxing act." Ethel Clifford. Bob Hall, Annette, Bodin, Collins ami Brown ail mads a good impression. Mr Alt. Haydon made his last appearance, and wus well received. Altogether, this %ve*k's prograniaie is ahead of anything yet presetted.
