THE ASHBURTON PROGRAMME.

The Committee appointed k> arrange for entertaining the Imperial troops at Asaburton met on Monday evening ,and transacted a large amount of detail business. The troop* will dot ruin at ihe railway platform, form up in front of the Post Office, march down Kast rtreet to Havelock street, thence up Park street to the Domain, where they will be entertained at afternoon tea. The two infantry corps and the Fire Brigade will parade, and march to the Domain to keep the Oval clear, and the mounted corps will form an escort t» the Imperial troop* to and from the Domain, the Mayor receiving the commanding officer at the railway station.
