At the monthly meeting of this Board on Monday, the Mandeviiln Returning Officer reported that t'iere"%ad been no nominations for the *V_-*on, and. the two vacancies for ''i-jr. iV'-'-j? ' would be filled by the Governm6~< The oicnths Receipts were £1 4s, and th balance £9 2s 10d. Accounts, £8 15s 2d, were passed. A question of tide gauges was referred to the Executive Committee. Votes of sympathy to the Royal family and thanks to. retiring members* of the Board were agreed to At the annual meeting the accounts, shotcfag receipts from balance £43 15s lOd, from rents £252 3s, were read.' The expenditure had been— For office £40 8s Bd, signals, etc.. £61 11s 3d, repairs £36 9s 3d, works £17 75s 7d, interest £21. sinking fund £50. balance £62 14s Id. The assets were £7015. The accounts were adopted.
