SPRINGSTON.
At Messrs Pyne and Co.'s saleyards at Springston, on Monday, there was an entry o: 6000 sheep aud lambs, and a small entry of cattle and pigs. The attendance of buyers was a good one, and-an almost entire clearance was made at full rates. The following are the principal sales made:—24l threequarterbred wethers at 16s, 158 store lambs (smah and backward) at 10s, 96 two-tooth three-quarterbred eives at 16s 7d, 160 aged crossbred ewes at 14a sd, 424 backward wethers at 14s 9d to 14s 10d, 135 fat ewes ufc 16s, 86 fat lrinibs at Ks Bd, 75 ditto at 15s lα, 16 fat wethers at 18s 10d, 54 fat lamos at 14s 2d, 153 Email and backward lambs at 9s 3d, 258 crossbred ewes at 12s 3d, 204 merino ewes at 9s, 31 fat lambs at 14s, 125 fat ewes at 15s, 39 fat lambs at 14s .9d, on ia.t ewes at 16s 9d, 20 fat lambs at 14s Id, 25 merino ewes at 10s 6d. 71 fat lambs at 14s lid, 15 ditto at 15s, 32 fat ewes at 15s 4d, 30 at. 16s od. 65 at 15s 6d, 89 fat lambs at 15s, 80 at 15s sd, 646 forward store lambs at 12s 4d and 12s sd, 1014 ditto at 13s 6d ana 13s 7d, and 1174 halibred wethers at 16s 6d. v.attle, pigs, aud sundries at ruling rates.
