GIFT TO A HOSPITAL.

Mr Shrimski handed to Mr John Bollard a cheque for £10 as a donation from his wifa to endow a child's cot ill the Auckland Hospital, "in Ifiving remembrance of Victoria tlie Good." As the Government give a subsidy of 24s for each 20s received by voluntary contribution, tills gift really means the endowing of another cot.
