A SMART WORKMAN.
A piece of smart work in bos-makinj was performed 'at a Wanganui eoapworks the other day by a young man named J, Vernon. According to the Wttnganai "Herald," he put together 55 boxes ia 695min, during which time he drove no \m than 1120 two-inch nails (20 to each box), picked up and placed together 280 pieces of timber, turned each box three times during the course of nailing, and walked 360 yards, in order to stack the boxes as they wen. completed. We may add that the timber was dry and hard, and all nails bent in thfprocess of driving were pulled out axid replaced.
