MEETINGS, ENTERTAINMENTS, &c.

The circus had large audier.c_s yesterday, bot_. at the matinee and the evening performance. The programme . throughout went- excellently. To-night the circus will give a performance in Lyttelton previous to leaving for the North. The Op.ra House was -well filled last night, when Dixs Gaiety Company repeated the programme for the" last time" All the items went well, and several of t__ performers were encored. To-night a new programme is commenced. On Monday next the Opera House will be closed for alterations, opening on Tuesday with several addition., to the present company. The Fuller liijou Company had a good house at the oddfellow's' Hall last night, when the present programme was given for the last time. To-night there will be the usual change of programme.
