EDUCATION BOARD SCHOLARSHIP RESULTS.
At the Education Board's meeting yesterday, the results of the annual scholarsnip "examinations (semior and junior), held in December last, were received from the Inspectors. For the senior scholarships the Inspectors recommended the following as standing highest in order of merit: — 1. Gwen. L. F. Opie, Girls' High School, Christchurch. .2. Henry F. Wilkinson, Boys' High School, Christ-church. 3. Sidney T. Evans, Boys' High School, Christchurch. 4. Thomas E. Carrie, Boys' High School, Christchurch. 5. Mary F. Arnott, Girls' High School, Christchurch. 6. Isabella M. Keith, Girls' High School, Christchurch. For junior scholarships the Inspectors recommended the following: — 1. Thomas >S. Atkinson, Mason's Flat. 2. William B. Bray. St. Albans. 3. David Sinclair, Templeton. 4. Laura Cliristensen, Mayfield. 5. Irene Wilson, Green-dale. 6. Donald Mocleod, Templeton. 7. Margaret E. Heiibei't, 'Olarkville. 8. Gordon Forbes, Oust. 9. Clifford M. Stubbs, Cust. 10. Helen P. Leversedge, Papanui. 11. Frederick G. OLark.Spreydon; Norah E. Lawry, Sprhigston; Margaret Ewing, Christchurch West (equal).
