The Moura arrived from Dunedin at 9.13 a.m. yesterday, and sailed for Auckland via the east coast in the afternoon.

The Collector of Customs, at Lyttelton, has received the following telegram from Mr D. McKellar, acting secretary at Wellington: — "Warn masters of vessels going to West Coast that large log, 60ft long, was last ni-rht three miles south, and half a mile off Kahurangi Point." ..The telegram was dated January 14th.
